Cheers to Women’s Empowerment: Wine Knot Partners with The Vine for “Ladies Sip & Stroll” Event

In the heart of downtown Wilmington, a movement is underway—one that celebrates the spirit of women entrepreneurs and the vibrant local bar scene. Wine Knot, nestled in the 9th floor of the historical Wilmington Murchison building, has teamed up with The Vine, another esteemed wine bar, to create an unforgettable experience: the “Ladies Sip & Stroll” event. This empowering initiative showcases the best of what Wilmington has to offer—women-owned businesses and exceptional bars!

The women-forward event, held at the end of March, proved to be a resounding success. A group of enthusiastic ladies gathered to embark on a journey through downtown Wilmington. Their first stop? Wine Knot, where the afternoon began with a toast to friendship and empowerment! With glasses in hand and laughter filling the air, the group set off on their adventure. From there, the procession wound its way through the picturesque streets of Wilmington, eventually arriving at The Vine on Front Street—a haven for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. The journey concluded at Sauce’d on the riverwalk, where tantalizing cocktails awaited.

By the overwhelming response to the new event, Wine Knot and The Vine are thrilled to announce another installment of “Ladies Sip & Stroll” this coming April. This time, the spotlight will shine on the newest addition to Wilmington’s bar scene: Social – Casa De Tequila—a tequila bar owned and operated by another passionate women entrepreneur. The “Ladies Sip & Stroll” event is more than just a ladies outing—it’s a celebration of women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship. Through partnerships like these, Wine Knot and The Vine are not only showcasing the best of what Wilmington has to offer but also creating meaningful connections and fostering a sense of community. As glasses are raised and laughter echoes through the streets, one thing is clear: the future is bright for women-owned businesses in Wilmington, and the best is yet to come.

With each sip, attendees will raise a glass to empowerment and innovation, celebrating the diverse talents and contributions of women in business!

Cheers to that!
